Paul Couture is a french designer and has a multidisciplinary approach including product design activities, craftwork investigation and illustration.

The studio is working and experimenting with craftsmen and local materials to transform rituals into contemporary objects. Conscient of its french cultural legacy, a particular attention is given to the narrative content and to the poetry conveyed by each project to produce elegant pieces and images.

Each project is designed to tell a story, to magnify and intensify details, color or gesture so that interacting with it becomes a positive experience. All this is mixed with a certain mystical vision of the world and a will to create objects and images that can reenchant our daily life.

Working with local materials, like Monterrey marble and lava stone in Mexico or Ash wood and porcelain in France, is a way to integrate craftmenship and durability during the production process. Its also a way to remain connected to the region where are born the ideas behin each story.
